CAD / CAM / CAE
This CAD / CAM / CAE course introduces students to modern computer-aided engineering and manufacturing technologies used in mechanical design, product development, and industrial applications. The course covers the complete digital workflow from creating technical drawings and 3D models to manufacturing preparation and basic engineering analysis. Students will learn fundamental CAD concepts, 2D drafting, 3D part modeling, assemblies, engineering drawings, and design documentation. The CAM section introduces CNC machining concepts, toolpaths, manufacturing processes, and basic computer-aided manufacturing workflows. The CAE section provides an introduction to engineering simulation, including basic structural analysis, material properties, loads, constraints, and interpretation of simulation results. The course emphasizes practical exercises and industry-oriented workflows, helping students build a strong foundation for further learning in mechanical design, manufacturing, product development, and engineering simulation.
